jennifer + bruno : engaged

Jones beach…finally a sunset. I have been out to the beach at least 10 times this season and never a sunset.

You might think its hard to get something original for each couple each time I go to the beach. But I will say it a milion times every day and every couple bring something else, look thorugh the blog seriously!
Dave from moving pictures and I shot this engagement session together and it was a blast. Although the mosquitos made it a bit difficult!

(if your friends with me on Facebook you will know what I’m talking about, If we are not friends what are you waiting for?)

christina + michael : engaged

I had the pleasure of shooting Christina and Michaels engagement photos today for their save the date cards. We drove out to the beach on one of the nicest nights this summer. When we got to the beach the sun was still pretty high up in the sky so I asked them to hang out at the beach bar while anthony and I walked around looking for something different. (I also figured the drink would calm so pre photo nerves!) It only took a second to find a long stretch of tall grass that would be perfect, you can see this in the first three photos.
I had such a great time tonight, I truly love what I do!!

You might be wondering who Anthony is. He is a new photographer that has been shadowing me for the past few months. Anthony’s passion for photography is so intense. I’m so lucky to have such talented people surrounding me! You will be seeing his name a lot more over the next few months. His perspectives and drive is so refreshing, thanks for all your help Anthony!

Just got back from Beacon, NY what an awesome place! It has it all Urban decay (you all know how much I love that for photos) and a beautiful waterfront. Im going to move there : )

nicole and anthony : engaged

nicole and anthony at the beach, well sorta.
A while back Ronnie and I scouted a few locations in long island. Usually we shoot at Jones Beach but I wanted something other than the beach with the same vibe as the beach. Does that make sense? Anyway we found some really crazy spots. I was dying to bring some clients there but the weather NY was hit with in June and July made it impossible to. I couldn’t find a day that didn’t have a chance of rain. Finally August came and we were able to go. Every time I go out to jones I pass that ticket booth and say to myself how can I shoot there? Wait till 6 o’clock thats how!
Thanks for being great subjects guys, I can’t wait for the wedding!

This first image graces the front of the website. Easily one of the best photos at jones beach to date!!!

What happens after the wedding?

One of the greatest things you can ask me to do after your wedding is to photograph your kids!
Eric and Lucy got married a few years ago. When they asked to to shoot their newest addition, I was so happy to.
